Aliro Protocols

The Aliro team is strongly in favour of open source and seeks to understand it in the most inclusive way possible as a community of developers who are willing to collaborate in the creation of new and better software. The team is therefore firmly behind any moves to establish standards for the implementation of functionality.

Where an existing standard exists, the Aliro team will back it. Where none exists and one is needed, the Aliro team will devise one. Contributions of protocols that can be adopted by the Aliro project are also very welcome. The team hopes that others will consider using these protocols in order to achieve better interoperatbility and more effective use of development effort. By the same token, the team is willing to discuss changes to any of these protocols that will encourage wider adoption.
